This hour offered a brief look at the structure of the modern Internet. You learned about Network Access Points (NAPs) and Internet Point of Presence (POP) connections. This hour also described some of the services available on the Internet, including the World Wide Web, email, newsgroups, and chat. Another important Internet service (FTP) was discussed in Hour 14.
