CIDR—
Classless Internet Domain Routing. A technique that allows a block of network IDs to be treated as a single entity.
subnet—
A logical subdivision of the address space defined by a TCP/IP network ID.
subnet mask—
Used to assign some of the bits of an IP address to a subnet ID.
supernet—
Enables you to combine several networks into a larger network.
