SIGuardian™ is a disk utility that checks and monitors the status of your hard drives to help prevent data loss. Using S.M.A.R.T. technology included in all modern hard disks, this program analyzes and calculates the date your hard disk will reach its Threshold Exceeded Condition (T.E.C.), when keeping data on it will no longer be safe, so that you can pro-actively back up all of the data on that disk. Checking the disks at system startup so it doesn't use memory while you work, this program shows all S.M.A.R.T. statistics both graphically and numerically, including Raw Attribute Values, Worst Attribute Values, and Threshold Values of Attributes. Residing in the system tray, this utility can be quickly brought to life in order to run a T.E.C. simulation on a selected hard drive. SIGuardian supports multi-lingual interface and now it translated to more than 5 languages.

Can estimate hard disk life
Using unique combination of S.M.A.R.T. standard system and other algorithms, SIGuardian can predict end date of your hard disk lifetime. We named such day as “T.E.C. (Threshold Exceed Condition) date”. You can find it on “S.M.A.R.T.” tab. But remember ¨C for it initial calculation you must wait for change of any S.M.A.R.T. attribute ( SIGuardian will reports about it).
Suitable for beginners and advanced users
SIGuardian combines power of modern technologies and easy-to-use interface. Beginners can use “ Normal ” mode and look only at “S.M.A.R.T.” tab to know date of nearest prognosis T.E.C. – the end date of hard disk lifetime. Advanced users can choose “Advanced” mode and look in detail S.M.A.R.T. attribute info at “S.M.A.R.T. details tab” to know at that hard disk part fail may occurs
Don't use computer's memory while you work
You can check your hard disks only at system startup – so, SIGuardian don't use computer's memory while you work. This mode is especially useful if you boot you computer everyday – for example, at work. Ones a day check – is almost enough in most cases.
Constantly hard disk health monitoring
For most important cases ¨C for example, servers or important workstations, you can setup constantly monitoring of hard disk health status ¨C SIGuardian will be minimized to system tray and will check disks status every hour (on any other time period that you choose).
Shows values of S.M.A.R.T. attributes
SIGuardian is the only tool that allows you to look at real values of S.M.A.R.T. attributes and make you own prognosis about hard disk status.
Individual control of S.M.A.R.T. attributes
You can select which S.M.A.R.T. attributes to monitor and disable control of some of them. For example, this is useful for IBM hard disks ¨C it shows drive temperature in S.M.A.R.T., so this attribute change very often.
Full info about hard disk supported features
You can see full information about your hard disk ¨C which ATA/ATAPI standards it supports, what data transfer modes can be used with this disk and many other technical information about your disk, not accessible in usual way.
