3D Active Chart is a generally applicable program; It can import data from any ODBC data source or from DBF files. It can also be connected to any DLL communicating application and act as an add-in module; The end user or software developer designs the scene that is decides which data will be placed on which axis. More data levels (columns) can be placed on each axis (which is similar to MS Excel Pivot Tables), Then the user decides which data will be assigned to the shapes and colors.
3D Active Chart Specific shape or color can by assigned manually or automatically to the specific data values; Several data series can be displayed in one scene simultaneously; If the displayed series contain incomparable data values the series can be "normalized", so that they appear comparable and templates with predefined views and scenes can be used.
Much better data display can be obtained in many cases compared to ordinary charts. Especially when large volumes of data records or multidimensional data are visualized.
You can see and explore your data in one screen.
Drill-down data analysis method is supported. You can start to view your data from very aggregated scenes and proceed to the detail ones or you can go from the detail view to the summary view.
Implemented display features: Multi series, data aware shaping and coloring, Series normalization, Split/Merge +/- values, Distance aware level of detail.
Subscenes can be generated from the data subsets. User selects interesting data and creates a new scene with the same or different configuration.
